Nest Baja

If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape where time slows down and connection feels effortless, Nest Baja might just be your next favorite destination.

My sister and I recently took a trip there, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden gem. We rented a car and drove about 45 minutes from the San José del Cabo airport, winding through the stunning Baja desert landscape until we reached this serene sanctuary tucked between cacti and ocean breeze.

Nest Baja: Where desert and sea embrace you

If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape where time slows down and connection feels effortless, Nest Baja might just be your next favorite destination.

My sister and I recently took a trip there, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden gem. We rented a car and drove about 1 hour from the San José del Cabo airport, winding through the stunning Baja desert landscape until we reached this serene sanctuary tucked between cacti and ocean breeze.

Poolside Peace & Sister Connection

Most of our time was spent chilling by the pool, letting go of stress and reconnecting with each other. This trip wasn’t just about getting away—it was about slowing down, talking deeply, and laughing a lot. At night, we’d curl up by the chimney with wine in hand, wrapped in blankets and good conversation.

Food with a View

Every morning started with breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Baja landscape, and let me tell you—don’t miss the chilaquiles or the pancakes. They're amazing! For lunch, we had the ceviche and octopus, both fresh and full of flavor. At dinner, we shared a wood-fired pizza and a crisp salad, paired with some excellent red and white wine from their selection. It was all delicious, simple, and soulful—just like the vibe of Nest itself.

The Rooms: Warm, Earthy, and Just So Thoughtful

One of the things my sister and I loved most about Nest Baja was how everything felt so intentional. My room had this beautiful, earthy vibe—hand-carved furniture, soft linen sheets, and these eco-friendly bath products that smelled like sage and sea salt. It was simple, but in the best way. Like a space that invites you to breathe.

On cooler nights, I’d light a fire in the little in-room fireplace (yes, they even provide firewood and cozy blankets!) and just melt into the moment.

And the light… wow. When you open the door you can find endless ocean views. I’d fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake up with the golden desert sun pouring in. It felt like nature was gently waking me up every morning following by a delicious pancakes and fruit for breakfast.

My favourite space at Nest Baja? There’s this big, comfy sofa in the shared lounge area that became one of my favorite places to just melt into the moment. It’s low, wide, and covered in soft cushions—like it’s inviting you to do absolutely nothing. I’d settle in with a book or my journal, and before I knew it, I’d be staring out at the horizon, totally lost in the view.

And that view? Unreal. The whole common area opens up to this sweeping stretch of ocean, so whether you’re sipping coffee, reading, or just daydreaming, the sea is right there, sparkling and endless. One afternoon, I just sat there watching the light shift on the water for hours. It was one of those rare moments where you realize—you don’t need to be anywhere else.

Beach Moments & Baja Peace

One day, the lovely team at Nest offered us a ride in their golf cart down to the beach, just 10 minutes away on foot. We spent the afternoon basking in the sun, watching surfers catch waves, and simply enjoying the rhythm of the ocean. The area felt incredibly safe and quiet, with no party noise or busy tourist traffic—just peace and the sound of waves.

Final Thoughts

Nest Baja gave us so much more than a vacation—it gave us time, space, and calm. If you’re looking for somewhere to reconnect with yourself or someone you love, this quiet desert-by-the-sea retreat is pure magic.

If you’re craving a place to unplug, reconnect, and breathe deeply again, NEST Baja is pure magic. Nestled along the quiet shores of San José del Cabo, this intimate beachfront retreat invites you to slow down and truly arrive. Whether you’re practicing sunrise yoga by the sea, enjoying a barefoot dinner under the stars, riding waves along the shoreline, or just lying near the pool with your thoughts and the sound of waves, every moment here feels intentional. The space holds you gently—perfect for solo escapes, romantic getaways, friends/sisters or surfing trips. They offer massages, wellness rituals, temazcal sessions, chef-curated meals, bonfires, and the kind of oceanfront stillness that makes you forget your phone exists. One of my favorite moments was curling up by the firepit after dinner, listening to the ocean and feeling like time had completely slowed down.

You can learn more or book your stay at www.nestbaja.com, follow them on Instagram @nestbaja for dreamy visuals, or call their US line at +1 386 317 2993 or MX concierge at +52 1 624 141 8729.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM—but fair warning: once you arrive, you might not want to leave.

Finding Myself at Xinalani: A Transformational Retreat by the Sea

I didn’t know how much my body and soul needed a reset—until I stepped onto the beautiful beach of Xinalani.

Just a 45-minute boat ride from Puerto Vallarta, nestled near the untouched village of Quimixto, Xinalani isn’t just a retreat—it’s a return to what truly matters. With no roads, no traffic, and no distractions, this private paradise reintroduces you to simplicity, presence, and peace. You wake up with the sound of the ocean and fall asleep under a blanket of stars. Everything in between feels like a prayer.

Finding Myself at Xinalani: A Transformational Retreat by the Sea.

Waking up with the sound of the ocean and fall asleep under a blanket of stars. Everything in between feels like a prayer!

Each day begins with yoga in an open-air studio overlooking the Pacific, where the horizon itself feels like it’s breathing with you. Meditation follows often by the ocean, where waves offer the most ancient kind of wisdom. Meals are vibrant, healing, and lovingly prepared. It was here that I realized how the food I had been eating was more habit than nourishment. At Xinalani, I re-learned how to eat with intention.

Between wellness sessions, I explored jungle paths, swam in crystalline waters. Although I didn't have the opportunity to swim with dolphins or whales this time, it's an experience I look forward to enjoying on my next visit to Xinalani. I guess is an unforgettable reminder of our place in the natural world.

My mom and I stayed in the Eco-Chic Suite, tucked into the lush hillside, giving you sweeping views of the ocean and jungle. With hammocks and open-air showers, it feels like you’re part of the landscape—because you are. But if you are travelling with a friend The Deluxe Room are cozy and comfortable. Coming with a group or on a solo soul-searching mission? The Shared Palapas are such a unique experience. Think stylish dorms with ocean views, perfect for groups or solo travelers who don’t mind sharing space and want to connect with others on a similar path.

Whether you’re looking to splurge or keep things simple, every room at Xinalani lets you wake up to the sound of the sea and go to sleep under the stars. It’s not just about where you sleep—it’s about how you feel while you’re there.

Xinalani is located in Quimixto, a hidden gem along Mexico’s Pacific coast, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling tourist hubs. Accessible only by boat, this secluded fishing village lies approximately 20 minutes south of Boca de Tomatlán, nestled between Las Ánimas and Majahuitas beaches.

With a population of around 250 residents, Quimixto exudes an authentic, laid-back charm. The village is characterized by its amber-sand beach, gentle waves, and crystal-clear emerald waters, making it ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving. During the fall and spring, it becomes a favored spot for surfing enthusiasts.

What I appreciated most about Xinalani Hotel is their deep respect for the town of Quimixto. They understand that this is not just land, but a living community, and they embrace their social responsibility by creating quality jobs, supporting education, and preserving local traditions. Above all, they honor and protect the land. I truly admire that mindset.

This isn’t just a vacation—it’s a deep invitation to come home to yourself. If you’re between chapters, if your soul is weary, or if you’re simply curious about living more fully—Xinalani is calling. And it’s more than worth the boat ride.

With Love <3

A Peaceful Retreat in Normandy, France

Solitude in Caleville: A Peaceful Retreat in the Heart of Normandy

After my busy and lengthy trip to Paris, I decided to go on a solo journey to a small village in Normandy, France, called Caleville. Solitude in Caleville: A Peaceful Retreat in the Heart of Normandy.

After my busy and lengthy trip to Paris, I decided to go on a solo journey to a small village in Normandy, France, called Caleville. I chose this place because I really wanted to disconnect, have space to think, and properly follow my self-care routine. Immersing myself in the authentic charm of a 19th-century peasant interior.

I chose a place with outstanding medieval vibes, and it became a turning point in experiencing Normandy, France, in a unique way. On the first day, I spent time in the heated pool, where I took a long nap, followed by a session in the jacuzzi, enjoying music and an amazing view.
The next day, I rented a bike and rode into the main town to visit the local market, known for its fresh, local products—because Normandy’s food is famously outstanding. I bought pâtisseries, Camembert cheese, charcuterie, fruits and vegetables, and a full-bodied Merlot wine.
On the following day, I woke up at 6:30 to catch the sunrise and went for a run. I came back to my villa, did my elastic band workout (which I carry everywhere), and ended with a meditation session. This was my last day, and the one I enjoyed the most.

Even though I couldn’t explore much of the surroundings of Caleville, I feel it was a unique experience to take a break from the city noise and crowds. I highly recommend doing a solo trip at least once a year—traveling by yourself helps you get to know the real you.

Here’s some information about the place I stayed:

Website: Le Clos de la Risle

Airbnb: Calleville, France

How to get there from Paris:

Take a train from Saint-Lazare station to Rouen Rive Droite, and from there, transfer to a train to Brionne. Once you arrive in Brionne, the only way to reach the village is by car and it’s only 10 min or walking which is 40 min approximately, so please plan your journey in advance, as there aren’t many taxis in town.

Casa Viva, Guerrero.

A hidden treasure on Mexico's Pacific coast.

A hidden treasure on Mexico's Pacific coast.

After visiting my grandma who also lives in Guerrero, me and my mom head to this beautiful secret stunning destination which is only 40 minutes from Zihuatanejo. I would have never imagined a relaxing and chic town in the middle of the Pacific coast and the Sierra Madre.

We were so excited when we arrived to Casa Viva, a sister property of Playa Viva, the view from the pool and the dining room was breathtaking! We’were welcomed by Don Andres and Arenita (a beautiful dog) who took us to our Bungalow.

Casa Viva Troncones is a place to relax, enjoy the company, the view and watch the best sunset. We barely left the house

Where to eat?

Eventhough is a small town, me and my mom wanted to explore it so we decided to go for dinner to ‘La Mexicana’ a bohemian place where you can enjoy the best ceviche and shrimp fajitas while enjoying the music of a trio.

Our bungalow

Casa Viva Troncones feels both naturally luxurious and thoughtfully balanced between shared and private areas—a true escape where you can disconnect and step into a different world. My mom and I spent unforgettable memories, watching the best sunsets from the jacuzzi. It has direct access to the beach which is the calmest beach I have ever been.

How to get there?

From the airport in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, you will need to take a taxi to Troncones Beach, which is approximately 40 minutes away.
As for safety, it’s a very calm and safe town—touristy, but not in a party-oriented way—so you can be sure you'll enjoy a wonderful holiday with your loved ones.

Tulum

A city surrounded by rich Mayan history, built nearby the ruins making it unique. But you guys have asked me a lot of questions…

I went there to spent the christmas season winth my parents for one month in the most beautiful airbnb. My life there was pretty much waking up, going for a run by the beach, coming back home and have some home made breakfast by my mom (not bad right?) . I was doing virtual work and dealing with the 6 hours difference from Mexico and London which wasn’t ideal but I could manage it so well.

It was a very chill holidays and I really enjoyed the fact to be with my parents in this beautiful town.

Where to eat

Kin Toh by Azulik : Not only have an incredible wooden interior design but also the environment and the food. Specially for breakfats.

Casa Malca : One of my favourite places in Tulum full of art and gorgeous views! I recommend the chilaquiles with cafe de la Olla.

Palo Santo : I totally recommend this place for a chill dinner. A fusion of Thai / Mexican cuisine with cozy vibes and the best pad thai in town.

Oishi Sushi : If you want to experience the art of sushi and a good sake you need to try this place. I widely recommend the Unagi roll and the grilled salmon.

Los Morros: This is a very local place located in Tulum town which I consider a secret gem. They have the best seafood tostadas, tacos and soups. Everything is delicious but you have to try the Gober taco and the octopus tostada.

What places to visit

Tulum Ruins

Cenote calavera

Isla Kaan

Chichen Itza

Where to stay

Last time I went I stayed in Town House Mun Tulum hosted by the best agency welkum.mx (you can contact them via instagram or directly in airbnb). It’s a 3 floors house with private pool, 3 ensuite bedrooms and full equipped kitchen. It’s located 10 min by bike to Tulum ruins beach which was my favourite beach to go for a run every day and then lay down by the sea for a couple of hours while meditating. To the touristic sea side is another 15-20 min by bike or 10 by car which is also convenient. It has a big pool, gym and a climbing wall which are shared common spaces in the other houses in the residency.

If you are looking more to stay by the sea side I would recommend Maria del Mar Hotel which I heard is a good option too.

Staying in Veleta it’s also nice but it will require you to have a car or a motorbike if you want to spend most of the time in the surroundings by the sea.

Things to know & advices.

  • Tulum was a port, the only known city that Mayans built on the coast, that was populated by Indigenous people 10,000 or more years ago. “Tulum” means wall in Mayan.

  • It’s sad but Indigenous people are being forced further away from the most desirable areas to make way for foreigners who can afford the high prices. How can give them back? Avoid buying crafts in big shops like super markets where they are usually being exploited. Try to buy directly from them or from shops own by them.

  • The local people salaries who are staff in the hotels or restaurants are too low that I always encourage people to give a tip in cash preferably. Most of the time this is how they make their living.

  • People often ask me if it’s safe? It is! You will see the army constantly around taking care of Tulum security but it also depends what environment you are involved in. There are so many people that go to Tulum for a retreat season and have amazing experiences knowing the mayan culture. Your vibe attract your tribe!

  • If you need any travel advice while you’re in Tulum or any other enquire or emergency you can always contact the Tourist Police: +52 55 4891 1166 (Whatsapp), or +52 55 5207 4155. Tourist assistance line: +52 55 5286 7097.

  • Wondering which airport is closer? Of course Tulum Felipe Carillo airport but If you are landing in Cancun airport you can take the Ado bus from Cancun airport to Tulum which is around £15 or take a taxi which will cost you around £60.

Tuscany, Italy.

In the middle of nowhere, 10 min away driving from Volterra town it’s located the most amazing Villa in Tuscany. I went there for my friends’ wedding which was totally dreamy as this place and its surroundings. First night my friends and I went to have dinner in the town in a place called I Ponti Volterra Bistrot, which had delicious pasta, lobster and octopus (my favourite). Next day we were just hanging out in the pool and getting a tan before the wedding. I hope you all followed the Celebration on my insta stories. Unforgettable trip I would say! I leave you here some inspiring pictures of the landscapes, sunsets and my very chill outfits of the weekend in Tuscany. I hope you like it!

Hostal de la Luz is a luxury resort hotel near Tepoztlan, Mexico, where you will find a time to relax and find your inner self.

I went with one of my best friends to this lovely place located in a little town called Amatlan, near the famous pyramid of ‘Tepozteco’ a sacred hill well know in Mexico. Hostal de la Luz was named as World Peace Location by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and was created by a group of doctors and therapists whose most important goal is providing the human being peace, health, harmony and beautiful landscapes. We stayed at Cuzcos room which has an incredible view to the mountains. Super comfortable with a mystical ambience that would perfectly suit for romantic couples (not my case though :D ) .

Our routine was based on having breakfast in the restaurant which has a stunning view and delicious chilaquiles, relaxing by the pool while reading and writing my essay for the course I’m currently doing for Women Leadership, do some exercise and yoga, meditate with surrounded by the hills and have some drinks in the jacuzzi to chat and disconnect ourselves.

On our last day we went to get a facial and afterwards a hydrochakral therapy which I loved it! Unfortunately we couldn’t climb the Tepozteco which I have done in previous times and I highly recommended if you want to recharge energy.

It’s definitely a place you can’t miss next time you go to Mexico a v. It’s a very different experience from others!

Dior Cafe at Harrods

When flavour meets Luxury

Dior not only created a spectacular illumination outside Harrods this year the Fabulous World of Dior took part and was showcasing the best of the brand’s heritage and last collection. The flavours of the cafe remained from 10 November to 3 January, serving within Dior Luxurious vibes delicious breakfast like caviar omelette, a selection of pastries, roasted chestnut velour or a risotto which was my dish. The space was decorated with gingerbread, Dior motifs and gold tableware. You could have the chance to take a little bit of the whole Dior cafe experience at home with you in the shape of Saddle and Lady Dior bags, J’adore perfume, and Oblique suit gingerbread biscuits.

Dior Pop-up at Harrods.

Designed as a cute gingerbread house which represents Monsieur Dior’s atelier, the pop up is offering ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes of Maria’s Grazia’s first collection to Dior. Customers will have the option to personalise their items with their initials or embroidery on the Dior book tote bag. They will also have the opportunity to enter the secret wings of 30 Montaigne to see the House and its creations in a behind the scenes tour, where they will see the iconic Lady Dior bag transported by a conveyor belt. Such an unforgettable experience.

On my point of view as a fashion marketer a very good strategy from the Luxury brand to make it inclusive and make the visitor to belong to the Dior World and become aspirational and potential buyers.
