Mira Earth: Where the Valley Meets the Sky
A peaceful escape to Valle de Guadalupe full of wine, design, and unforgettable views
My Stay at Mira Earth Studios – A Dreamy Escape in Valle de Guadalupe
After landing in Tijuana, we made a quick stop in Ensenada to visit a friend, enjoy the coastline for a moment, and then headed into Valle de Guadalupe — and wow, I was not expecting to love it this much.
Honestly, I underestimated Valle. I knew it was known for wine, but it’s so much more than that. The whole place is this beautiful mix of nature, thoughtful design, sustainability, amazing food, culture, and even a little ocean breeze in the distance. The mountains, the landscape, and this deep sense of calm in the air — it’s something you have to feel for yourself. It smells like peace (yes, really) and slow mornings with good coffee.
I went with my Italian friend visiting from Paris, and exploring it all together made the experience even better. We stayed at Mira Earth Studios, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip — peaceful, stunning, and so well-designed.
Mira Earth Studios: Peace, Design & Perfect Mornings
From the moment we arrived, we were in love. Mira Studios is modern but warm, minimal yet cozy. Every detail feels intentional — large windows, clean lines, and views that stretch across the valley. Waking up there felt like pressing pause on everything.
Morning coffee on the terrace was a ritual, and at night, soaking in the jacuzzi under the stars was pure magic. The sauna was the cherry on top — relaxing after a day of wine tasting felt so good. Honestly, if we had never left the property, I still would’ve called it a perfect trip.

The Wine Stops You Can’t Miss
We started at Las Nubes, which has a wide-open view and beautifully balanced wines — perfect for a slow afternoon. Then we went to Solar Fortún, which felt more intimate and rustic, with a personal touch and great reds. Both were different but equally charming, and yes, we brought a few bottles home.
Let’s Talk Food – Where We Ate & What to Order
One of the best parts of Valle? The food. Every meal felt like an experience — fresh ingredients, local flavors, and settings that made us want to stay forever.
Fauna (Bruma) – This was probably our favorite. The space, the vibe, and the flavors were next level. I highly recommend the octopus and the broccoli (yes, the broccoli is that good). Amazing wine list too.
Dulce Vida – A more casual stop, but super tasty. We loved the tacos de canasta and the ceviche — fresh, simple, and full of flavor.
Oja – This spot is beautifully designed and full of thoughtful dishes. I had the octopus carpaccio and the shrimp sopes — both light, flavorful, and so well done.
Bura (Cuatro Cuatros) – The view here is out of this world. We came for sunset and stayed for dinner. Incredible atmosphere, great food, and the perfect place to just take it all in.
Cuatro Cuatros at Sunset
If you’re going to Valle, don’t leave without visiting Cuatro Cuatros. Watching the sun set over the Pacific from up on the cliffs is something I’ll never forget. The view is unreal — golden skies, rolling hills, ocean in the distance. We had dinner and drinks at Bura, and everything , from the food to the wine to the music — was just perfect. It’s a must.
Valle de Guadalupe completely surprised me. It’s peaceful, creative, grounded, and full of beauty. Whether you’re going for the food, the wine, the views, or just to reset , it has something for everyone.
And if you're going, you have to stay at Mira Earth Studios. It made the trip feel extra special — like we had a little piece of the valley all to ourselves.
How to get to Mira Earth Studios:
After landing at Tijuana International Airport (TIJ), the easiest way to get to Valle de Guadalupe is by renting a cardirectly at the airport. From there, you’ll take the Highway 1D (toll road) toward Ensenada, the drive is about 90 minutes (around 110 km) and takes you along the scenic Baja coastline. There are a few toll booths along the way, so have some pesos or a card handy. Once you reach the Ensenada area, you’ll follow signs into Valle de Guadalupe, where most of the vineyards and boutique stays are located. The roads are generally in good condition, although a few rural paths near the wineries can be unpaved — part of the charm!

If you're planning a trip to Valle, I can't recommend Mira Studios enough. It’s quiet, beautifully designed, and perfectly located for wine tasting and relaxing.
