My sister and I recently took a trip there, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden gem. We rented a car and drove about 1 hour from the San José del Cabo airport, winding through the stunning Baja desert landscape until we reached this serene sanctuary tucked between cacti and ocean breeze.

Every morning started with breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Baja landscape, and let me tell you—don’t miss the chilaquiles or the pancakes. They're amazing! For lunch, we had the ceviche and octopus, both fresh and full of flavor. At dinner, we shared a wood-fired pizza and a crisp salad, paired with some excellent red and white wine from their selection. It was all delicious, simple, and soulful—just like the vibe of Nest itself.

The Rooms: Warm, Earthy, and Just So Thoughtful

One of the things my sister and I loved most about Nest Baja was how everything felt so intentional. My room had this beautiful, earthy vibe—hand-carved furniture, soft linen sheets, and these eco-friendly bath products that smelled like sage and sea salt. It was simple, but in the best way. On cooler nights, I’d light a fire in the little in-room fireplace (yes, they even provide firewood and cozy blankets!) and just melt into the moment.

My favourite space at Nest Baja? There’s this big, comfy sofa in the shared lounge area that became one of my favorite places to just melt into the moment. It’s low, wide, and covered in soft cushions—like it’s inviting you to do absolutely nothing. I’d settle in with a book or my journal, and before I knew it, I’d be staring out at the horizon, totally lost in the view.

And that view? Unreal. The whole common area opens up to this sweeping stretch of ocean, so whether you’re sipping coffee, reading, or just daydreaming, the sea is right there, sparkling and endless. One afternoon, I just sat there watching the light shift on the water for hours. It was one of those rare moments where you realize—you don’t need to be anywhere else.

Beach Moments & Baja Peace

One day, the lovely team at Nest offered us a ride in their golf cart down to the beach, just 10 minutes away on foot. We spent the afternoon basking in the sun, watching surfers catch waves, and simply enjoying the rhythm of the ocean. The area felt incredibly safe and quiet, with no party noise or busy tourist traffic—just peace and the sound of waves.
